Tackling the Assessment Gap in High School Chemistry
Innovative assessment resources, tools for designing assessments, and support in using assessments are vital to the learning of all students.
Our interdisciplinary team from the Biochemistry Department and the Learning, Teaching, & Curriculum Department at the University of Missouri, in collaboration with high school chemistry teachers, is designing, testing, and disseminating innovative assessments for high school chemistry.

- a resource bank of chemistry assessments and related scoring rubrics, and
- professional development resources about how to use assessments in the high school chemistry classroom to foster student learning and excitement.
